Due to an ongoing illness (it’s going to be ok), we have sadly had to postpone all our concerts for the upcoming tour. We’d like to offer our heartfelt apologies and will work double time to make the next tour one to remember!

Hannah James & Toby Kuhn

Hannah and Toby met in the summer of 2018 in the garden of a friend, and as many folk-music meetings go, with the sharing of a tune. Feeling right away that they should build on this meeting a friendship both personal and musical, they set out to travel a path together of experimentation and sound-sharing. From the UK to Slovenia they play, compose, write, jam and perform, exchanging ideas, exploring their values and the possibilities offered by their instruments, always looking for the connections between themselves and the world that surrounds them.The combination of accordion and cello allows for a wide palette of sounds and textures which lift Hannah’s pure voice and deeply honest songwriting, in the next breath switching to choppy rhythms and joyful interplay between cello and percussive dance. This duo deliver a diverse, playful, original and incredibly touching performance.
